What to visit in Majorca?

Majorca combines heritage, nature, and spectacular beaches. Among the most notable places are the Cathedral of Majorca, Palma’s historic center, the impressive Serra de Tramuntana, a World Heritage Site, and the spectacular Cap de Formentor. Charming towns like Valldemossa and Sóller are also worth a visit. For enjoying the sea, coves like Cala Agulla, Cala Mondragó, and Cala Varques stand out, famous for their crystal-clear waters and natural landscapes.

What is the temperature like in Majorca?

Majorca enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate for much of the year. In summer, between June and September, temperatures typically range from 25 to 32°C, with sunny days and little rain. During spring and autumn, values fluctuate between 18 and 26°C, ideal for outdoor activities. In winter, temperatures usually stay between 10 and 18°C, making it a temperate season compared to other European regions. The sea temperature is also pleasant for several months.

How to get around Majorca?

If you book apartments in Mallorca, especially in northern areas like Alcúdia, Can Picafort, Pollença or Playa de Muro, the best option for getting around is to rent a car. From the airport, the journey to the north of the island usually takes between 45 and 60 minutes by road. Although there are buses connecting the airport with different towns, schedules can be more limited and journeys longer. Having your own vehicle makes it easier to access beaches, coves, local markets and charming villages, allowing you to enjoy Mallorca with greater comfort and flexibility during your holidays.
