This stately Mallorcan house from the late eighteenth century is located in the heart of Muro's historic centre and offers something unusual: staying in a home with more than two centuries of history, surrounded by a large garden and with lovely views towards Sa Riba, the landscape of northern Mallorca and Alcúdia bay, whilst at the same time having the village square, restaurants, shops and services just a few minutes' walk away.

Son Idò was also the home of the renowned local painter Jordi Poquet, and part of his legacy continues to be present within its walls. During your stay you will be able to admire some of his paintings, which still decorate different corners of the property and form part of the character and history of the house.

Upon entering you will discover a spacious, traditional home full of character. On the ground floor you will find the entrance, the lounge and the kitchen, spaces designed to enjoy the house comfortably.

The lounge has air conditioning, a heat pump, Smart TV and Wi-Fi connection. During the cooler months, the fireplace provides the warm and welcoming atmosphere typical of old Mallorcan houses.

The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday use and has an induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, toaster, Nespresso coffee maker and filter coffee maker, as well as crockery, cutlery, utensils and all the necessary kitchenware.

Next to this area you will find a characteristic indoor barbecue, fully operational, perfect for preparing a meal and enjoying long after-dinner conversations without leaving the house.

For added comfort, the bedrooms have electric radiators and ceiling fans. In addition, the property also has additional standing fans.

For longer stays, the house also has a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Son Idò offers four bedrooms distributed across its two floors. On the lower floor there are three double bedrooms, whilst on the upper floor there is a double bedroom and a room with an auxiliary bed.

As for bathrooms, two of the bedrooms have private facilities: one has an en suite bathroom with bathtub and another has a private toilet. Additionally, on the lower floor there is an independent bathroom with shower and on the upper floor an additional toilet.

One of the main highlights of Son Idò is found outside.

The property has approximately 4,000 m² of outdoor spaces, distributed between the spacious lower garden and the viewpoint area of the house. A particularly unique setting given its location in the heart of the historic centre of Muro, with different corners where you can stroll, rest amongst the vegetation or simply disconnect and enjoy the tranquillity.

Among its different areas you will also find a lovely pond with fish and frogs, which adds even more serenity and character to the surroundings.

As night falls, the garden lighting allows you to continue enjoying the outdoors and discover a completely different atmosphere under the Majorcan sky.

The terraces have comfortable outdoor furniture, perfect for breakfast in the open air, sharing a meal or extending summer evenings. You will also have a chill-out area with hammocks, ideal for reading, having a drink or simply relaxing whilst taking in the surroundings.

The property also has a private garage, with useful dimensions of 4.00 m long by 2.90 m wide, suitable for vehicles smaller than these dimensions, an especially practical advantage given its location in the heart of the historic centre.

And when you want to enjoy the Mediterranean, the beaches of Playa de Muro and Can Picafort are approximately 15 minutes' drive away, allowing you to easily combine the tranquillity of the village with a day by the sea.
